Detailed description of adding an epost.plus email account to an IMAP client.
To use an epost.plus email account with a mail client, a Premium version account is required. The Basic account does not support external mail clients, and it can only be used via the Webmail service available in a browser at: https://mail.epost.plus.
We will demonstrate adding an email account to an IMAP client using the Mozilla Thunderbird application as an example.
Step 1 - Launch the Mozilla Thunderbird program and select the option to add a new account.
If this is the first launch of the application, the account setup window will appear automatically. If you are adding another account, click the Settings icon in the lower-left corner of the screen and select Account Settings.

Then, click the Acount Actions option and select Add Mail Account...

Step 2 - setting up an email account using automatic configuration.
In the account setup window, provide the owner's full name, email address, and password. The email client will use these details to automatically detect and apply the necessary settings.

If the automatic setup works correctly, your account will be ready to use in the email client.

Step 3 - setting up an email account manually.
Should automatic setup fail, you'll need to manually configure your account using the details provided below. Click Manual Setup in the account creation window to continue.

Enter the following settings:
Incoming Mail Server
- Protocol - IMAP
- Hostname: - mail.epost.plus
- Port - 993
- Connection security - SSL/TLS
- Authentication method - Encrypted password
- Username - Your full email address, e.g. john.doe@epost.plus
Outgoing SMTP Mail Server
- Hostname: - mail.epost.plus
- Port - 465
- Connection security - SSL/TLS
- Authentication method - Encrypted password
- Username - Your full email address, e.g. john.doe@epost.plus

To complete the process, click Done to save your settings. Your account is now properly set up.
