Detailed description of the process for transferring a domain to Smartxhosting.uk.
Step 1: Go to the domain transfer page
To fully manage your domain from the smartxhosting.uk customer panel, including DNS settings and renewals, transferring the domain is necessary. To begin this process, go to the smartxhosting.uk website and from the top menu, select Domains, then Transfer Domain Name.
Step2: Search for a domain to transfer
On the Domain Transfer page, a search tool is available. Enter the name of the domain you wish to transfer into this tool and then press Transfer
Please note! For a domain transfer to be possible, the domain must already be registered. If you enter the name of a domain that is not yet registered in the search tool, you will see the following message and the transfer will not be possible.
Step 3: Authorization Code
If in the previous step you entered the name of a domain that is already registered and its transfer is possible, you will be redirected to the order screen and asked to provide the authorisation code (EPP, Authcode). This code protects the domain from unauthorised transfer and is essential to begin the transfer process. You can obtain the authorization code from your current domain registrar. Please contact them and request the EPP code for the domain you wish to transfer, then enter it on the order screen at smartxhosting.uk
