Security and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

The security of your email is a priority. Axigen offers modern security methods that protect your data from unauthorised access.

1. Changing your account password

We recommend changing your password regularly. To do this:

1. Log in to Webmail and click Settings.
2. Go to the General tab and in the Change password section click the Change button.
3. In the Password field, enter your current password, then enter your new, strong password twice below.
4. Click Save.

2. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA is the most effective protection method. Even if someone obtains your password, they will not be able to log in without a code from your phone.

How to configure 2FA:

1. In the General settings, find the Two-Factor Authentication section.
2. Click Enable.
3. Click the Add button in the Authenticator app field and enter your account password.
4. Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
5. Scan the displayed QR code using the app.
6. Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app in Webmail to confirm the process.
