Managing a large volume of email messages becomes easier thanks to automation. Axigen allows you to create advanced filters and set out-of-office messages.

1. Setting up an Autoresponder (Out-of-Office Message)

If you are going on holiday, you can configure an automatic reply:

  1. Go to Settings (cogwheel).
  2. Select the General section, then the Out-of-Office Auto Reply section.
  3. Tick the option Enable Out-of-Office Auto Reply.
  4. Select the time period during which messages will be sent by completing the Start and End fields.
  5. Subject: Enter the subject of the message (e.g. "Holiday Notice").
  6. Message: Enter the content of the message.
Note: The autoresponder will send only one reply to a given sender within a specified time to avoid message loops.

2. Creating filtering rules (Mail filtering)

Rules allow you, for example, to automatically move invoices to a separate folder or delete unwanted messages:

  • Go to Settings » Filters
  • Click Add Filter.
  • Conditions: Specify the conditions (e.g. "From" contains "invoices@company.pl").
  • Apply filter to: choose which messages the filter should apply to.
  • You can add multiple conditions and actions to a single rule.
  • Click the Next button.
  • In the Actions section, decide what to do with messages that meet the filter conditions.
  • Confirm creation of the filter by clicking Finish.

3. Blacklist and Whitelist

If you want to ensure that messages from a specific sender never go to Spam:

  1. In Settings, go to Anti-Spam.
  2. In the Whitelist section, click Manage and add an email address or domain.
  3. Similarly, you can block unwanted senders in the Blacklist section.
