The eM Client application is also available for Apple computer users. This modern tool fully leverages macOS capabilities, offering support for system notifications, dark mode, and intuitive gesture controls. Below you will learn how to order, download, and install the application.
Step 1: Ordering a licence
eM Client in our offer is a licensed product. To gain access to the macOS installer:
- Go to: https://smartxhosting.uk/email-client.
- Select the package that suits your needs (licence for a specific number of devices).
- Place your order and complete the payment.
Step 2: Downloading the installer (.dmg)
After the payment has been processed, the download link for the macOS version and your unique licence key will be sent in a welcome email. These details can also be found in the Client Area under your service details.
Step 3: Installing on macOS
The installation process on Mac differs from Windows and is very straightforward:
- Open the downloaded file with the .dmg extension (double-click).
- The installer window will appear. Drag the eM Client icon into the Applications folder.
- After the copy is complete, you can eject the installer image from the desktop and delete the .dmg file.
On first launch, macOS may ask if you are sure you want to open an application downloaded from the Internet. Click Open. eM Client is a signed and secure application.
Step 4: First launch and activation
- Launch eM Client from the Applications folder or via Launchpad.
- Choose your preferred application appearance.
- When prompted for a licence, select "Activate" and paste the licence key received in the email.
Step 5: Configuring your email
With the auto-configuration feature, adding an epoczta.com account is quick and easy:
- Enter your full email address and password.
- The program will automatically configure the server settings and start synchronising your emails, calendars, and contacts.
We recommend adding eM Client to the Dock (right-click the program icon in the Dock -> Options -> Keep in Dock) for quick access to your mail and calendar.
