Customer Dashboard - Product Details in Services Section
This guide describes how to manage purchased service/product in customer dashboard.
To manage desired service/product you need to log in to the customer dashboard at www.smartxhosting.com, go to Services and select a service from the list.
Product management page will be displayed. Please note that you can manage active services only. For services with status other then active most of the options will be unavailable.

Section 1: Overview
Contains basic information of your service/product like name, domain name, disk usage and bandwidth Usage. You can always bring this screen back by clicking Information link in the menu.
Section 2: Actions
There are 4 options on this section:
Change password
You can change the passwrod for selected service here. You can use the form to type new password or press "Generate Password" button to automatically generate safe and compliant password. Don't forget to safely store generted passwrod, it won't be displayed again. Press the "Save Changes" button for the changes to take effect.
Upgrade/Downgrade Options
If the service has upgrades available, you can buy one here. Those upgrade addons may add additional disk space or data transfer for your service without changing the plan. Check this option for selected service to see availabale addons.
To purchase an addon select desired option in "New Configuration" column and press "Click to Continue" button.
Then, select your payment method and proceed to checkout. After successful payment wait for addon activation on your account.
Renew Service
If you have a service due to renewal, you can renew it manually here. This option will display Service Renewal page, where you will find details of all services due to renewal. To renew selected service just clik "Add to Cart" button, and then "Checkout" button to start standard checkout procedure.
Request Cancellation
If you would like to request for a service cancellation you can use this option. We will ask you to describe a cancellation reason and select cancellation type. You can request immediate or at the end of the billing cycle service cancellation. The first type will terminate the service right away, the second one will terminate the service at the end of the period you have paid for.
Section 3: Manage Account
This section allows you to manage the crucial settings of your service like DNS settings, Email address and SSL Certificates. You can access the settings page by clicking a link in the sidebar menu or a tile in the Manage Accound section.
DNS settings
You can add and manage DNS records here for the domains associated with selected service. DNS records are the data elements that define the structure and content of the domain name space.
To manage DNS records for desired domain, first click edit icon.
You will see list of your domain current DNS records. If you would like to edit record, just use a edit icon. A popup window will show up with a record settings form. Please note that the form may vary depending on the record type.
To delete selected record, just click the delete icon and confirm removal in popup window.
To add new record press "Create DNS Record" button, fill the form and click "Create". Please note that records limit may apply.
Please be advised that making changes to DNS records need propagation time in public DNS servers. You may not see your modifications right away. Please wait at least couple of hours and check public DNS again.
Email Addresses
For every domain associated with your service you can create email accounts (addresses). Please note that number of email account you can create depends on service plan you have bought.
This sections contains all email accounts (addresses) you have created. After service purchase this list is empty. To create your first email address press "Create Email Account" button.
In the next step you need to fill the form providing following information:
- 1 Email address. If you have more then one domain associated with your service, don't forget to select desired one here.
- 2 Password. Provide strong password for your account or use "Generate" button to generate the random one.
- 3 Use As Login To Plesk. You can use this option to be able to login to the server management with this email address.
- 4 Default Quota. If this option is on default size of email account will be used. If you want to set your own size, disable this option and provide quota size in megabytes. Please note that provided value can not exceed default quta for your service plan.
- 5 Description. This field is optional, you can add a description here. It will be visible for everyone who has access to this account.
At the end click the "Create" button to create email account.
If you have accounts created already, you can edit them or delete using icons shown below.
SSL Certificates
In this section you can view all SSL certificates issued for your domains. We provide free of charge Let's Encrypt certificates. Those certificates are issued automatically upon service activation and if request are successfull, they should appear on this list. Plese note that to successully issue SSL certificate you must configure and propagate DNS for your domain first, so it may take some time to fill this list with your certificates.
If you need to manage SSL certificates by your own, like generate SSL certificates, certificate signing requests, and private keys 1 or upload certificate files 2, you can use this section to do so.
If you want to delete SSL certificate, select it on the list and click remove icon.
Section 4: One Click Login
In this section you will find links to the tools necessary to fully use the purchased service
Plesk
This link is for your server management. By clicking it you will be logged in automatically to the tool that allows you to fully manage and configure server assigned to your service. If you need further information about this tool, please check this section of our knowledgebase.
Webmail
By clicking this link you can use a webmail service to login and manage your email accounts. You can use this service to send and receive email messages, as well as configuring option of your account. If you need further information about this tool, please check this section of our knowledgebase.
WP Toolkit
This link appears only for Wordpress based services. It allows you to manage all your Wordpress installations in one place. Using this link will log in you automatically, you won't be asked for credentials. If you need further information about this tool, please check this section of our knowledgebase.
Section 5: Service Details
This section is for informational purposes only. You can find 3 tabs here with different types of data regarding your service.
Billing Overview - crucial information of all billing related matters like service registration date, recurring amount, next due date, billing cycle, payment method
Hosting Information - data of main hosting parameters like domain name, SSL status, server name, IP address or nameservers.
Configurable Options - status of addons extending your service parameters.

This banner is a kind of advertising section for our services. We present our latest offer that may interest you.
